Kisses for Pangolins

So proud of Jake! Jake and his buddies (Shaw, Brody, Julian and Oliver) just made posters, spoke on the morning news at Dunn, and sold bags of “kisses for pangolins”.  They raised $200 at the Dunn carnival which we matched. So, $400 is going to save the pangolins!

Here is what Mrs. Croak (IB coordinator) had to say about the boys:
I had so much fun facilitating your sons' group this afternoon!  They are ideal IB students in every way.  Their concern is genuine. Their collaboration is practical and respectful.  Their creativity is celebrated by one another, and they are kind.

Here is what Mrs. Brose (Jake’s 4th grade teacher) had to say:
Great conversations, creativity, and teamwork has been the focus of all of their meetings. The tight action schedule, use of recess, and classroom work time to complete the majority of the work was amazing to support. These guys live for recess! This was a work of hearts.

Here they are at the Dunn carnival:

Here are the bags they put together.  $5 donation for 20 (Hershey’s) kisses, and $2.50 for 10 kisses.
