So our new nanny, who will be starting tomorrow, had watched the kids for the the day a couple of weeks back. Below is what she sent us that got us pretty pumped...
Hi Betsy & Greg:
It was great spending the day with Jake and Harper! I am planning to email you both a wrap up of our day... if you feel that these will clog up your email please let me know and I can handwrite something instead.
We started our afternoon at the park where we played with a new friend, Jack. Jake was so brave to ask him to play soccer and football with him. We also watched the swimmers at the pool. When we got home we played baseball in the backyard and headed inside for naps.
Harper slept for about an hour and a half and Jake slept for two hours. We built a fort for Jake and Harper ate carrots and started on a bottle. Once we were done camping in our fort we went to the front yard to design a few master pieces. Jake was pretty proud of his hyena and wolf that he drew. Harper enjoyed the grass and watching us draw. We ended our day in the backyard with Goldfish, water and more baseball. Harper cheered the Red Sox on (Jake’s team) while in her swing.
I look forward to starting July 16th!
